Those Crazy Kids!

Michael and I had the pleasure of driving 13 boys over to Orlando for Rock the Universe this past weekend in the "man van."  The van was packed with teenagers which means high octane energy. To add to the excitement we were unable to get the air-conditioner fixed before the trip. We were sweating before we even got out of the 360 Church parking lot!

I have to hand it to them though....the boys took it well. We were blessed with their vocal talent with a rendition of "Lean on me" Which was swiftly followed by a water gun fight. Who knew I would be happy to get squirted. Very refreshing!!

After a quick Chic-Fila stop we hit Universal Studios. Some amazing concerts that night; Skillet and Jars of Clay. The Rockin Roller Coaster was AMAZING!!!! Michael and I managed to get on right away. I heard the kids had to wait 1-2 hours.

The best concert by far was Toby Mac. It just doesn't get any better than the energy this group brings to the stage!

The trip was a success. No one got hurt. A few boys discovered that it was not a good idea to take their shirts off during the E.T. ride and wave them around like fools. Their photos were blacked out and they received a lecture from the attendants. We made it home safe and sound in a smelly van full of sleeping teenage boys.

Out next adventure??? Well we are working on it. Join us at the Will Tant Surf competition at Flagler Beach November 6th and 7th. We are going to have a Waves of Love booth promoting our mission in Nicaragua. We are also heading out on another mission November 13th. We would love to have you join us. You can check out the schedule at www.globalsurfmissions.com

Waves of Love and Blessings,
Paula
